Open Canvas
Freeform work. Cross-area queries. Advanced flows.
Open Canvas is the product area without rails. A blank canvas. A chat. The full canon at the operator's fingertips.
Media placeholder. Demo video, ~50 seconds. Path:
/docs/media/open-canvas-walkthrough.mp4. Shows: the chat-first layout, a
GraphRAG query against the canon, a result block dropped onto the canvas, a
handoff to Strategy Studio.
When to use Open Canvas
Open Canvas is right when:
- The work does not fit one of the five named product areas.
- The operator wants to query the canon directly. "What does Brand Guard say about UAE compliance for finance ads?"
- The operator is composing across multiple sources (a positioning section, a campaign brief, an audience persona, a competitor scan) into one document.
What Open Canvas runs
| Workflow | What it produces |
|---|---|
| GraphRAG explorer | Direct queries against the brand knowledge graph. |
| Block composition | Drag results from any product area into a single canvas. |
| Cross-area handoff | Send a section to any of the five named product areas. |
| Power flows | Advanced operations: bulk edits, scripted workflows, batch handoffs. |
Reading from Brand Brain
Open Canvas reads every section, with full query access. Unlike the other product areas, Open Canvas exposes the canon as a graph. The operator can ask "show every guardrail that mentions KSA" and get the answer with provenance.
Tone
Formality 35, Warmth 40, Certainty 30, Brevity 35. Mid-register. Open Canvas matches the operator's tone.
