Brand Guard
Compliance review. Verdicts. Audit trail.
Brand Guard reviews every output the platform produces against the canon. Three states: Approved, Review, Blocked. Every verdict names the issue, the rule it failed, and the reviewer who signed it off.

named rule that failed, the reviewer override action.
What Brand Guard runs
| Workflow | What it produces |
|---|---|
| Output review | Every produced artifact runs against the rule set. Verdict in seconds. |
| Audit log | A queryable record of every approval, override, and block. |
| Bulk audit | Re-run the rule set against existing outputs after a canon change. |
| Override review | The override history with patterns the operator can act on. |
The four enforcement tiers
| Tier | What it does |
|---|---|
| Must Fix | The output cannot ship until the issue is resolved. |
| Review | A human reviewer must approve before the output ships. |
| Suggestion | Non-blocking. The operator can accept or ignore. |
| Hint | Surfaced for awareness. No action required. |
The tier per rule is set in the canon. Defaults differ by category: regulatory rules default to Must Fix. Voice rules default to Review.
Three operating modes
- Dashboard. The cross-output view. Counts per state, trends per market, top failing rules.
- Audit. Single-output deep view. The output, the rule trail, the verdict, the override history.
- Embedded. Inline verdicts in Strategy Studio, Content Engine, Creative Lab, Open Canvas. The operator sees the verdict at the point of work.
Reading from Brand Brain
Brand Guard reads every section. The canon is the rule set. A canon change re-runs the relevant rules.
What the verdict names
A typical verdict reads:
Output #4127 cites an unverified source. Hold for review. Reviewer: Maya. Median review time 38s.
Every claim has a named human attached. Every override is recorded. The audit trail is permanent.
Tone
Formality 75, Warmth 10, Certainty 5, Brevity 15. The most cool, certain, and terse surface in the product. Compliance copy must not warm up.
