Activation

Activation is the eighth and final agent stage. The canon stops being a draft and becomes the canon.

What the agent checks before publishing

Before the publish step runs, Brand Crafter reads the live brand kit and verifies every required section is present and non-empty:

• foundation: purpose, essence, vision, values.
• strategy: positioning, benefit ladder, guidance, content strategy, success metrics.
• voice: tone, emotion, character, syntax, direction, system prompt.
• voicePrompt: prompt, summary, guidelines.
• socialContent: profiles, posts, examples, extracted links.
• guardrails: every rule with category, name, description, target scope, enforcement level.
• summary: the operator-approved one-page version of the canon.
• brandDesignSystem: design system, design.md, assets, review state.

If any required field is missing, the publish step refuses. The agent repairs the gaps and tries again.

What activation does

When the publish step runs, the live artifact save path writes the canon into the product. Three things change at the same moment:

• Brand Brain receives the canon. The canon entry is versioned (v1) and attributed to the named operator approver.
• Brand Guard activates. Every guardrail in the canon becomes a live rule. Every output produced from this point forward is checked against the rule set.
• Agent context loads. Strategy Studio, Content Engine, Creative Lab, Intel Desk, and Open Canvas all read the same canon. Their first responses in this brand will reference it.

What the operator confirms at activation

The agent presents the canon for explicit approval. The operator confirms:

• The named approver is correct.
• Every section is what was intended.
• No surprise gap was missed.

The operator approves with a single named action. Brand Guard records the approval.

What happens after activation

The operator returns to the home screen. Smart suggestions surface the next likely action:

• Brief Strategy Studio for the KSA launch.
• Run an Intel Desk competitor scan.
• Review the canon in Brand Brain.
