Before you begin
What to gather before the first onboarding session.
The faster Brand Crafter sees what already exists, the fewer questions it has to ask. Most of the first session goes into reading what you bring.
What to gather
| Material | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Brand homepage URL | The intake step pulls visible positioning, products, copy, and visual language. Required. |
| Markets in scope | The canon shifts by market. Pick the markets the brand actually runs in. |
| Brand book or guidelines PDF | Brand Crafter reads logo rules, color palette, type, voice. Optional. |
| Positioning deck | The strategic source of truth. Optional. |
| Audience research from the last 12 months | Persona Builder will read this later. Optional, but high value. |
| Recent campaigns | The agent learns the working voice from real outputs. Optional. |
If only the URL is available, the URL path runs. If documents are available, the document path is faster and produces higher-confidence output.
Who needs to be in the room
Onboarding works best with one operator who has authority over the brand. Two reasons:
- Strategic answers need a decider, not a committee.
- Every approval is named in Brand Guard. The named approver becomes the canonical author.
If the strategic owner is not available, run the intake without them and pause the agent at Stage 7 (Review and evaluation) for their approval.
Markets first, language second
NeoIQ chrome runs in English or Arabic. The chrome language does not constrain the canon. A masterbrand can hold an Arabic positioning, an English audience description, and bilingual voice on the same brand.
Pick the markets first. Pick the chrome language for the operator running the session.
