Onboarding a brand
Onboarding a brand
From URL to activated canon. The full Brand Crafter flow.
A brand is onboarded once, then refreshed. The first run produces the canon every product area will read for the next year of work.
What onboarding produces
- A canon entry for every named field of the brand: positioning, voice, audiences, competitors, guardrails.
- A versioned record in Brand Brain.
- Activated rules in Brand Guard.
- Working agent context for Strategy Studio, Content Engine, Creative Lab, Intel Desk, Open Canvas.
The cardinal rule
Brand Crafter never fabricates strategy. The agent extracts what already exists, asks the operator about gaps, and structures the answer for machine consumption. A field with no source becomes a gap, not an invention.
The operator stays the only author of the brand strategy.
Time cost
| Path | Time | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| URL inference | About 5 minutes for intake. About 20 minutes with the agent. | Brands with a strong public presence. |
| Document-first | About 10 minutes for intake. About 30 minutes with the agent. | Brands with a positioning deck or brand book. |
| Guided interview | About 5 minutes for intake. About 45 minutes with the agent. | New brands. Brands rebuilding the canon. |
How the flow runs
- Intake. Four pre-agent steps: identity, documents, the unwritten rules, choose a path.
- Brand Crafter. Eight agent stages, from goals through publish.
- Activation. Brand Brain receives the canon. Brand Guard receives the rules.
